For the CSUF Powerlifting Club, I promoted five members competing at the Omni Infinite Powerlifting Meet through a structured social media campaign. Each post was created a month in advance, including an edited group photo for the initial hype post and daily “member spotlight” posts highlighting individual athletes. The content was then scheduled to go live leading up to the competition, ensuring consistent audience engagement and building excitement while showcasing our team’s achievements.

"Hues of Africa" is a cultural initiative founded by Tiffany Heard, a solo traveler and content creator passionate about African heritage. The project offers coloring and activity books exploring Africa’s history and vibrant cultures, along with group travel experiences that immerse participants in local traditions and landscapes. These initiatives aim to educate and inspire, while campaigns were designed to:
1. Strengthen Instagram presence2. Drive sign-ups for the Solo Travel Virtual Conference3. Use the website as a conversion hub

Strengthening Instagram presence

01
The Hues of Africa Instagram account (@hues_of_africa) primarily reaches audiences through Reels. Popular content features the activity books Hues of Africa: Journey Between the Lines and Hues of HBCUs, which we leveraged by creating live demonstrations and narrated walkthroughs of select pages to engage viewers.
Created additional Instagram posts, including FAQ carousel posts and promotions for various Hues of Africa offerings, to educate the audience and drive engagement.

Drive sign-ups for the Solo Travel Virtual Conference

02
Designed visually engaging flyers in Canva to promote the Solo Travel Virtual Conference, using bold imagery, clear messaging, and culturally relevant visuals to compel audiences to register.

Used the website as a conversion hub

03
Designed a visually striking promotional banner in Canva and uploaded it to the website via SiteGround/Elementor, ensuring it aligned with Hues of Africa’s branding and captured visitor attention to drive program sign-ups.
Built a dedicated sign-up page on the website, integrating an email capture system that triggered automated welcome messages. Each new subscriber received personalized emails introducing the program and providing additional resources, creating a seamless conversion experience from website visit to program engagement. your block, write your own text and edit me.
